Playing With Lilacs

So beautiful.
I spent an hour or so playing with my lilacs yesterday.

Have I told you about my allergies?

Ah-choo!

It was worth every minute!
:)
There's a flea market close by tomorrow morning...
...if it doesn't rain, Mr. Flea and I may take a look.
Hope you have a great weekend!

Just gorgeous! Love all of these pretty photos, I love the scent and colour of lilac.
It looks so beautiful with the purple glass bottles, and in the basket on the sea of little blue flowers (forget me knots are they?).
Have fun at the flea - am hoping to get to a boot fair Sunday.

Oh my! Your lilacs are beautiful - and such a gorgeous post! LOVE those purple glass bottles! I love lilacs also (no allergies here), but am still waiting for them to bloom, as they are a bit behind in our Zone 4 Minnesota.

Dear Laura

your lilacs are so beautiful.
They won't grow where I am - perhaps they need a very cold winter to set the flower buds????

I'm off to France to visit my daughter and she has several lovely old lilac trees in her garden, but sadly they will have finished blooking by the time I get there in early June.....

Enjoy your flea market hunting tomorrow!

beautiful lilacs, they are just starting to bloom here.

Mmmmm I can smell their beautiful aroma from over the pond. Mine have blossomed a month early here in the UK due to an un-seasonally warm March. My allergies have been awful this spring so I empathise!

Laura - Your lilacs are really stunning. Here in DC, they can be difficult to grow....prone to powdery mildew with our humidity and heat :(
