Over Active Imagination

This pair of gold leaf bookends was found at the thrift store this week for $2.50....they are marked Made in Italy on the bottom....
As I looked over my flea market finds and collections this weekend....my imagination got caught up in the eerie and uncomfortable season of late October and Halloween...

Unusual objects came together to tell their own haunting story...

I think I am scaring myself.

Hello my friend! I read some tales of Edgar Allan Poe at school...your books are beautiful...I like the old ones! You always can find such unusual treasures!!! We still have sunny days, but now it isn't as warm as in September! I was with Paola yesterday and she told me to greet you all...as you know she's a bit allergical to the PC!!!
Have a nice new week and hugs to you four!
Ciao!

Oh Laura...how clever you are. We could all make up a story about these objects and they would all be different. I love all of your pieces and you always get them for such a small ammount of money....if I'm ever in your area, I hope you won't mind if I drop in for a cup of tea. I'd love to see all of your treasures displayed. (don't worry, Laura. I'm not likely to be in your area, seeing as I'm in the U.K. !!!!)

I''m inspired by the sheer artistic scary-ness implied in your vignettes. I would call them shivery chic.
