Home and Garden Tour.... 4

Remember this architectural piece that Paula has hanging as if it is a window in her "summer dining room"? Carole and I were with her in Brimfield when she found it and it's mate......

....which she uses indoors on the wall as a shadowbox of sorts.....

It is just perfect to group together all those little found treasures that otherwise might appear lost setting out on their own.....I wonder where these architectural pieces came from originally?

This is a corner of the family room which includes a wonderful old basket that Paula found at Gather in Ivoryton.......Gather is a fabulous shop and truly a gathering spot ...you can stop for coffee....pick something delicious up at the farmers market...take a craft course.....or attend a community meeting... it is run by Deanna Pinette...a lovely lady who is full of fun and always welcoming....

OK, we have returned to the screened porch at the back of the house....this picture and the remainder in this post are of some of the charming details and rustic antiques that Paula puts together with her artistic eye... to create a warm and inviting spot to relax....sip a glass of ice tea or wine and look out at the lovely grounds...

More to come.......I told you I took a lot of pictures!

Love all of the pretty touches in the porch!
Especially the wooden box with the weeds and seed packets! Looks like something you might find on my porch, but not put there on purpose!

Good Morning Laura:

Creativity at its best when we want to be outside and can't. 'The Girls' were a stitch and seemed so to be enjoying the afternoon sun!! Thank heavens for out cameras!

Paula's home is so warm and inviting! I love all the charming vignettes she has created inside and out. Details definitely make a house a home.

Blessings,
