Uncle George's sister Grace loved the color pink.
She also loved fine antiques and was an avid collector
of beautiful glassware, pottery, silver and Victorian furniture.
Her entire home was filled to the brim with treasures...
...including signed Tiffany, Lalique and Faberge.
Years ago, after she passed...I was lucky enough
to be given her collection of vintage Christmas ornaments.
Almost all of them were pink
and many were antique German treasures.
This year, I decided to display some of them
on an old pink transferware platter.
Hope you are finding peace and joy this Christmas season.
We are counting our many blessings and holding tight
to each other as we care for family members in need.
Happy Holidays to all!
:)

What an absolute delightful treasure of vintage balls, my favorite. I wish I could find these. They are so hard to find. Right now, everyone is holding on to their heirlooms. I have few pink ones that I purchased from another vendor at a steal!

Hi Laura,
Thank you dearly for welcoming Vera to blogging your a doll.
As for Graces ornaments they surely fell into the right hands, (yours) it's so wonderful when treasures like these are passed down so they can be loved all over again.
Pink, was such a colour then and for some reason has never swayed the delicate eye of the beholder.
I so wish I had been able to get some of my grand mothers bubblers something so nostalgic about vintage ornaments.
Thank you for sharing with us the grace and beauty of Graces treasures.
Xx
Merry Christmas
