Hardware

Just a few fun finds from the yard sales this weekend.
Dad is such a good sport...
He has even stopped asking,
"what are you going to do with that?"
He's very patient and indulgent with me and my stuff inventory...
...although always encouraging me to move it out...instead of in!

Mr. Flea will be back tomorrow...
...time to focus and get things back in order around here!
Lots of things to price, pack up and move into the booth.

It's a new week...hoping it will prove to be a productive one.
What do you have planned?
:)

What a wonderful and cohesive collection of goodies you found! Did it just happen that way? Sometimes I find it does. I'll come home with 3 lamps or a stack of books or a collection of bottles or something - all from different places. Funny how that works. :)I'm going to check back often to see what you might do with them! Check out my post today to see how I mistakenly painted a rare Heywood Wakefield rattan table.

Well, if your dad should ask you again, "what are you going to do with that?"...just tell him, "I'm going to share it on my blog and make the girls drool!" ;} What finds!!!

m ^..^

And drool we did. Great finds.

I'm practicing with Annie Sloan Chalk paint - on anything that isn't tied down. Having fun too.

I really enjoy your blog and all the beautiful things you give us to look at! This week, I need to photograph and list some of my end-of-the-season bargains, finish up some swaps, and try to get used to the idea of being another year older but not much wiser!

I have doorknobs in my garden! I simply skewered the brass knobs onto garden stakes from Home Depot that I painted with bronze paint. They look almost as lovely as the plants who use them for support!

Oh what great hardware 'scores'... I have an addiction to Old Doors and their Hardware... I am practically a Hoarder of them because I can just not pass them up when I find a good deal or some at the side of the road and need 'rescue' from being forever lost in a landfill! *Gasp & a wink*

Lovely finds. We are volunteering at a music festival on Friday night and then we get to attend for free on Saturday night.
First time volunteering. Should be fun.

We "collectors" are sooo much better at moving things in than out. It seems for everything that I move out, SEVERAL pieces get moved in to replace it. Your newest yard sale finds are wonderful, Laura! I would be so tempted to keep ALL of it! ;)

Dear Laura,
What yummy goods! You always find the most unique things. It's those Eastern antiques, I think! I always feel so warmed when I hear of you spending time with your dad. I am sure you are a huge part of getting through of hard time.
Sending hugs,
Suz
