We recently found these old license plates
stashed in the back of the garage.
They once belonged to Mr. Flea's grandfather
and are all New Jersey plates from 1920 through 1928.
They were filthy, but after cleaning them up we were surprised to find that some are in pretty good condition despite their age.

..... and, you just keep on finding treasures. I love old number plates especially American ones. I think anything from another country holds so much more mystery and romance that the same thing from one's own country, don't you ? Our old number plates just don't seen the same !! I have one old license plate from the US propped up in our conservatory.
.....and, you can do a shopping for treasure giveback anytime you like Laura. It's fine by me !!!! hehe.
