Spring Zinc

It's a good thing I took pictures of  the lilacs and flowering trees while the sun was still shining last week...
...because, by the time the torrential rains end this weekend
 the blossoms will be gone.
Such a fleeting but always inspiring time of year...

The forecast is for clearing weather by Saturday ...
...just in time for the sale at Paula's home in Centerbrook, CT....

I have been dragging out the zinc pots and containers....
...still have to find all those watering cans.

Trying to decide what to bring to sell.
Can't keep it all!

Hope you are having a good and productive week...
decisions, decisions!
:)

I was just enjoying the antics of Mildred and Talulah and checking out your past posts about Paula's home and garden. Then when I hit the back button, this post was there. Love it. Glad you posted the lovely lilacs before they are gone. I never got photos of my hyacinths or daffodils before the snow and hail reappeared here in Michigan. I really enjoy your blog. Good luck with the sale at Paula's. I wish Connecticut was closer.

Beautiful photos!! I just love the lilacs, they remind me of the ones in my yard growing up on Long Island. Alas the ones I have now are the Asian variety and the flowers are smaller. Pretty but not the same. So nice that your post brought back those memories!

Oh Laura,
It must be so hard for you to decide which things to keep and which to sell. I always feel that each and every little treasure that you own is so precious to you. You always wax lyrical about all of your beautiful possessions. ......oh, sorry Laura. I've probably made it worse now !!
I am sure that you know that you need to make some room for more additions !!
Good luck Laura. XXXX

Beautiful, beautiful, Laura. I hate missing any of your posts. We are so deeply involved in the chemo thing that I just don't get by as often. It is so nice to visit your oasis of calm and beauty. I think of you often and wonder how you are doing. This grief thing is not easy.
Sending love,
Suz
