Found: Vintage Hand Mirror

Church sales and yard sales are in full swing
down here in sunny, warm Florida.
recently found this sweet old hand mirror.

Don't you just love the detail on the handle,
the lovely patina and the beveled glass?

I'm thinking it will look wonderful hanging on the wall
along with some other vintage mirrors I have been collecting.

Stay tuned...I have a few church sale treasures
to photograph and show you over the next few days!

If you haven't already done so and are interested in entering my
...you have until Friday, April 1st
 to enter...click HERE

Good luck!

You found a treasure. The last couple of church sales I went to were disappointing. Used to be that kind of sale was where you could get some great vintage items, especially jewelry.
Enjoy your week.

how pretty, I knew someone who collected hand mirrors and placed them on her bathroom wall.

I wonder who it first belonged to and what the occasion was when she received it? Did she bring it overseas when she came to the "New Country"?
It is beautiful...it has a soul!

Hi Laura,
What a wonderful find! I wonder what stories that little mirror could tell? It's still too cold for the garage sales here but I can't wait!
Thanks for sharing this beautiful little mirror.

Love the mirror with the little blue butterflies. Very pretty, Laura. So jealous of your church sales down in sunny Florida - we're still trying to get rid of all the old snow up here.

Now that is cool!

A treasure, indeed.

I love the church rummage sales! You can really get some neat stuff there.

Not to mention the great baked goods or lunch being served..... ;-)

Up here in SD, it seems that they are frequently called "Grandma's Attic" sales....

Hi Laura!
What a beautiful mirror. You can't help but wonder about it's history..the lives it's touched and the faces it's seen. I'm looking forward to seeing what else you've found. Wish it was warm here in Kansas ...it's been a long old cold winter and spring. I hope you have a wonderful day.
