A Soft and Safe Place

My flight to New York was cancelled today...
...so I have another day here in sunny Florida
with sister Lynn, Mom and Dad.

I hope that you are all safe and warm...
...protected from the storm...
...surrounded by those you love.

:)

Thank you for all your wonderful comments...
...although you may not hear from me...
your thoughtfulness touches my heart and your continued prayers for Mom are so appreciated.

I love those beautiful roses! Your photography is wonderful!

Sorry about your flight. My husband caught the last flight out of Ft. Meyers this morning to come home to Chicago where it is terrible. Snow blowing sideways with 60 mph winds. We'll make it!

XO,
Jane

I, too, have a family member in a similar circumstance. Today's post really touched my heart, the softness of the rose, so comforting. I will return to this to remind me to find reverence where I can.

It was probably a good thing. It was freezing, sleeting and snowing I heard. I am going next week - hope it clears up soon!!

I'm glad you have another day. Your photos are superb. The fist rose looks magical. You really have a talent and an eye for photography.
Hope your trip home is safe. I'm glad I don't live where the weather is so bad nor am I on my way there to visit. :>)

How beautiful!
Maybe you should stay even longer. The weather is pretty rough up there.
Safe flight and come back soon.

Trust me, you do not want to be up here in New England. :)
Love your flowers, Laura, and thanks for your kind visit to my blog.

Oh well, Laura. More time with your family :) Besides, you're just much better off in a nice sunny place like Florida right about now - it's terrible up here.
