Vintage Black Friday Flea Finds

A few old journals found at the last flea market...

Vintage black ink?

Wait till you see these crusty old shoes cleaned up and lined with sheet music!
Did you notice the little black shoe buttons!
And how about this vintage paint box!!

Could not resist these clock faces and parts...
...picked up for a song...
...Tiiiimmmme...is on my side.....yes it is!

Wonderful old black hatbox with black hats and a red one thrown in, perhaps as a nod to the Christmas season approaching!

For more participants in Vintage Black Friday visit Jill at Gypsy Brocante!
Hope the weekend ahead brings opportunity for rest and relaxation.
:) Laura

I love the little shoes, but I would never have thought of lining them with sheet music! I must be missing the creative gene. Love, love, triple love the clock faces...that's really having time on your hands!

If I left a comment everytime I visited, you'd surely get tired of me saying "I love it". :) Love the sweet little shoes.

Wow! Fabulous finds! Did you have to "sing" the song for those clock faces? :) The journal pages are so endearing! Have a wonderful weekend ~ Angela

Anything old is so fascinating. I'm not sure if that applies to me however?! I would love to pour through that journal. Just the penmanship alone is a lost art. Happy weekend to you~

Ooooo, Laura, what lovely vintage finds. I love the little black shoes and the paint box.
Do you have somewhere to store your wonderful things ? I have this mental picture of you, coming home, putting the key in the door and having to push really hard to ge in, and then clambering over thousanda of the most beautiful things !!!!
I know that your house isn't like that but you have so many brilliant items.
I also love the clock faces. What is it about clock faces ?..... and the hatbox and hats are fantastic. I want to try the hats on, Laura !!
Have a great weekend. XXXX

Hi Laura~
These are wonderful!...I've searched for journals this past summer and when I do find theme they are priced far, far out of my reach ... however I do have some baby shoes I was planning on making some sort of ornament out of ... I hope you share the shoes when they are done!
