Grapevines in September - Ciao Bella!

The grapes on the vines in the back yard are changing color...

A sure sign that cooler weather is just around the corner...

This deep purple color seems to be an "in" color this fall...

Although not a big fan of purple....I do like softer shades of this rich color paired with grays...

I think it looks beautiful here too...

These old grapevines make me think of my upcoming trip to Italy...

I am looking forward to a week of history, culture, beautiful architecture, delicious food, wine, gelato and friendly people...

...and maybe a little shopping! :)

I'm on my way Valentina and Paola!

I will not be bringing my laptop as I want to use every minute of my adventure soaking up as much of Italy as possible....but I will definitely bring my camera and will share it all with you upon my return! Until then, be well, take care...Ciao!
Laura :)

I wonder why it is that, in nature all colours look beautiful but when it comes to decorating or wearing a colour if often doesn't look so good. The purple grapes look so beautiful but I don't think I would particularly like it in my living room.
Have yourself a wonderful time in Italy Laura, and soak up all of the culture, scenery, food and wine. Ciao bella. XXXX

Mouthwateringly luscious photos of the grape vines, makes me want to go back to France straight away ( our cottage is in Burgundy, good wine country ).

Have a fabulous time in Italy, you'll probably be up 24/7, there is so much to see and to do, and a week is so short. Can't wait to see your holiday photos.

Ohhh, I'm jealous. Italy is one of my most favorite countries. Spent 10 days in Vencie, Vicenza and Florence...incredible. Actually felt like I was truly home...such a special place. You will love it there and the food is as fantastic as the people. Sea Witch
