What a treasure you have shared with me in your posts. You've taken me to beautiful gardens and wonderful shops. Your charming posts have in invited me along on your flea market Sundays. All from my home here in San Antonio, Texas. When we traveled to Brimfield this last May, we planned on attending the Elephant's Trunk flea market that you've written about. Sadly, the weather didn't cooperate, but there's always next year. I'm so glad that I found your blog, it truly is a delight to visit each day. As for the sweet gift from Cabbages and Roses, I'm certain my husband would love to use these fabrics in his sewing, it
would make such a tender lining for one of his vintage fabric bags. Yes, my husband sews, and wonderfully, I might add.

Smiles,

Carol

Bonjour, Laura! I have followed your blog for several years now, and enjoy living vicariously through your flea market escapades. I live in the south of France half the year, and the other half in my home in the US. I have resurrected my interest in quilting, having made a few pillows when my boys were young; now that they have flown the nest, I think I would make a lap quilt to drape over my parents when they come to our family Saturday Suppers at my house. Mom is tumbling into Alzheimers and Dad has become her fortress. They are a shining example of love's perseverance and I am grateful for every moment I get to spend with them. Hugs, Nance in France

I would use both fabrics in my daughter's room.
She is 2 and quickly turning into a girl and not a baby.
Love the combo of those colors and I would create a vintage retreat for her.
They are lovely.
