Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Here are some vintage, turn of the century postcard images for you to use...

Valentine's Day was my Nana's birthday....
...very fitting for such a sweetheart!

My sisters, brother and I were fortunate to have both our grandmothers as an important part of our lives well into adulthood...
...Mildred Grace lived to be a happy and healthy 97 years old.

The portrait above was taken in 1900, when she was just two years old.
Happy Birthday Nana!

...and Happy Valentine's Day to all my friends and family!
:)

Hi Laura, Aren't they sweet! I love vintage! The picture of your Nana is very sweet too. How wonderful that they were both there for you for so long. I lost one when I was 12 and one when I was 25. I miss them both. My Grandparents offered totally unconditional love. Take Care, and Happy Valentines Day! Sherry

I don't have a clue how to tell who is visiting my blog. I don't think that is possible either, but who knows, I know nothing... thanks for the hug yesterday, I was needing one...

Oh, such beautiful Valentine's Day cards. It's a very new tradition here in Denmark, and we don't have vintage cards like that. We will just have to enjoy yours. :-)

Thank you for the wonderful images to use. It's hard to pick out a favorite.
I love the photo of your Nana. I was fortunate to have my grandma around until she was 92. Her mind was so sharp until the day she died and I loved the stories she would tell us about her days growing up.
Happy Valentine's Day.

What fantastic cards.

How lucky you were to have both of your grandmothers in your life. My maternal grandmother passed away well before I was even a thought...My paternal grandmother lived to be 98, but we didn't live in the same area, so I didn't see her often. I would have loved to have spent time in her Italian kitchen.
