Tarnished Metals

Tarnished metals....silver, silverplate, brass, steel....to me, they are all so appealing and its fun and interesting to mix them with textures...fabrics, feathers, ribbons and wood....

A bouquet made from a page of an old book and a sewing pattern.... is tied with a silk ribbon and sits in a found miniature silver plate trophy.....

Vintage metal box

Hammered vintage heart which is really very large and heavy....almost too big to wear!

Sweet metal and glass picture frames

Decorative old brass doorknob

Old keys....some very rusty!

silverplate tray with button hooks and silver bookmark

Gold and silver crochet necklaces

Lovely metal mesh purse with sterling frame.....notice the little blue clasp? Notice the tiny spider who is sitting in the sun or perhaps just posing for the picture?

Sterling silver monogrammed mirror and powder case

Old metal shoe buckles

Silver oval box with key

Slim silver plate vase and feathers

Metal buckle as a holder for stamped mini tags

Decorative scissors

Just scratching the surface of stuff hanging around here.......does anyone like copper? That's another whole post!
