We arrived at my parent's door in Florida last night and awakened to beautiful sunshine this morning! The grapefruit tree outside their door had a bounty of fruit ripe for the taking.My mother prepared a lovely breakfast and we made plans to stop at a few yard sales later on......it's wonderful to be here!

The very best citrus I've ever eaten came directly from the growers - during the years I lived in Central Florida. Grapefruit is one of the fruits we DON'T grow here on our little farm. But I would, if I could. ;)
