Blue and White Enamelware

Being as fond of blue as I am......some years ago I began picking up enamelware in my favorite color........

Some of the pieces are American and some European.....

It's amazing how many shades of blue these utilitarian pieces were produced in.....

Lots of utensils, skimmers and ladels, etc. are mixed in.....

My favorite piece is this blue and white checked pitcher which I found and bought in Paris at the Marche aux Puces......

Sister Lynn found a fabulous piece of jewelry that day but I found my bliss in this!!

Just found your blog through 'Tales from Betty & Violet'. I love your enamelware it looks great when it's altogether. I have some vintage red & white bits which I love.
Take care.

It's great when you can equate a memory with a loved piece like the pitcher you got in Paris. Your collections are beautiful.

I adore those! how well do you think they fit a modern glossy kitchen? is it a good combination? cz I'm just moving into my new home and the kitchen is quiet modern with glossy white counters..hmmm
