Today was Rob's birthday...
It was a beautiful, clear, crisp fall day....
This old heart shaped cutting board was given to me by Aunt Adele at my wedding shower...
... thirty five years ago...
We enjoyed a quiet day, Rob's birthday... just the two of us together...
There are advantages to having an empty nest...

Beautiful pictures and a great way to describe a special day for the two of you. How sweet.
Beautiful. The heart shaped cutting board reminded me of one of my favorite wedding gifts...a rice cooker. 23 years later it's not as pretty as the chopping board but it's a little wonder.I love holding on to things...and people. What a romantic post. Trish
