Last September Paula, Carole and I set off for Brimfield with our sunscreen, totes and carts....ready to find our kind of treasure at the infamous flea market. We were not disappointed! From dress forms to wire ware to bottles and boxes, paper dolls and old letters, old linens, vintage photos and incredible architectural pieces......It was all there to be discovered! The sun was shining, the street food was satisfying, the "amenities" were satisfactory and matched the color of the sky......Tired but happy we considered it a successful day! Back at Paula's we relaxed in her late summer gardens.....I'm looking forward to doing it all again!

That was such a fun day. Can't wait to do it again. Hey who's that scary person in the white shorts?
Grateful and content...
...life long collector of objects with history and soul; discovering my creative self and sharing bits and pieces along the way...
To live content with small means.... To seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion.... To be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not rich.... To study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly.... To listen to stars and birds, to babes and sages, with open heart.... To bear all cheerfully, do all bravely, await occasions, hurry never.... In a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common.... ...........this is to be my symphony.
Thank you to all the kindred spirits and kind souls who take the time to leave a comment......Your support and encouragement are deeply appreciated.....I read each and every message and as time allows, do my best to reply.

A fun loving kindred spirit!
I am reading your posts randomly and found this one about Brimfield. I have been once, many years ago, and I want to be there right now!! What fun!
