More From Evi's Holiday Home

Here we are in Evi's pretty dining room.

Each place setting had a glittered letter
so we ladies knew just where to sit.
And each chair had a pair of antique stockings
tied with ribbons and greens to its back.

With twig place mats and green leafy salad bowls...
...it made for a beautifully natural and rustic setting.

Another Santa created by Evi.

Even her beautiful kitchen was decorated with greens
a midst the vintage kitchen collectibles.

...above her stove

...above the spiral staircase which leads down to her studio
 and the family room.

...and even in the bathroom...
...there are beautiful touches of glitter and Christmas
 along with Evi's signature look...
which combines European elegance with a touch of whimsy.

Downstairs in the family room...Evi showcases her antique toys
and collection of vintage children's clothes.

The downstairs bathroom includes charming Christmas vignettes too! I love this collection of bottle brush trees.

The home of  doll maker Evi is especially charming
 at Christmas time!

I hope you are enjoying this tour of Evi's holiday home.

There is more to come, however...
I am currently posting from a location with very limited and extremely slow internet access.
It is hard to tell if these photos are really this grainy
or if the appearance here is due to my poor connection!

I will try to bring you the rest over the next few days.
Thank you so much for your comments...
...I knew you would enjoy seeing Evi's home dressed
 for the holidays  again!

:)

Evi and I could be very good friends :) I love her home and collections. I noticed many of her furniture is painted or in light wood tones....like pine. Beautiful palette! Thanks for the tour, Laura.
Cheers,
Loi

Laura, the photos are great. Such a treat to see these special touches for Christmas. Do you mind if I pin some of your photos? I'll ask Evi too, if it's OK with her. I want to remember some of these vignette ideas. So beautifully done, with a touch of green here and a group of something there. I love the way she grouped her little herd of sheep. I have a few that I've collected through the years, but hadn't thought of putting them together as she did. Darling! Thanks again for the time it takes to put all this together to share with us. ;-)

Oh, this is so quaint and heart warming! What beautiful cozy Christmas vignettes. You photographs provide such life to each and every one. The reindeer on the books and the little bird with the basket about his neck are adorable. Thank you for such a treat!

Okay, I want to be Evi's FRIEND and get invited to her home at special times in the year. After viewing this post of Evi's Christmas home, I went to the old post of Evi's Valentine's Day Luncheon in 2012. Oh, my! what wonderful food, what wonderful decorations, what wonderful gifts...

Evi, feel free to invite me anytime. I promise to be a good guest and bring a hostess gift. :)

I could just spend wonderfilled hours absorbing the beauty and whimsy of the creations that Evi has in her home. She is a very talented artist. It's amazing how every little detail is perfect and beautiful. Thank you for sharing these pictures with us. And thank Evi for creating such wonderful treasures and allowing us to see them. Seeing her creations gives me the same feeling of wonder that I remember having on Christmas morning when I was a little child and everything in the world was still new to me.
