He Missed Me

Mr. Flea met me at the airport with a big smile, a huge hug,
a kiss and a tuna sandwich...
and his very own, first attempt at
homemade oatmeal cookies!

He missed me.
The cookies were delicious
and so were the brownies he made yesterday.
Who is this guy?
Who knew, after all these years,
that there was a baker living in our home?!

I had a great time in Chicago
with my sister Lynn and brother in law Steve...
we worked together and their home is packed in pods
and ready for delivery in Florida...
...which is much warmer than Chicago!

It is good to be home in NY...
...but so much to do as I won't be here for long.

What have you been up to?

Having been unplugged for this long
it will take me a while to catch up with you all!
:)

Ahhh yes Florida is much warmer than it is here in Chicago.I would love to pack up my bags and move there too. With family living there it would be perfect.Well maybe someday.Today it is 29 and actually warm.Yes warm compared to our -18 and zero temps.Staying home and waiting for our ice storm. And I am longing for spring.

Hi Laura,
I am with Anne I live near her and am so wanting Spring and Summer. It is 24 today here in Chicago Wooooo Hooo! My mom lives in Florida and I hear the weather report every time I talk to her and I just want to jump on a plane and go there too. Glad you are back and your packing trip in Chicago was good. Your hubby is so sweet to bake for you. Hearing that made my day. Cookies look yummy.

ah, a man after my own heart. Tuna AND homemade cookies?!? Very, very nice ! My own Mr is awesome, but I don't believe he'd ever think to bring me a tuna sandwich and I doubt he'd attempt the cookies. How lovely for you to come home to such a treat.
