Snow, As Promised
Around 7 am the sun started to rise over the hill behind the woods in the backyard...
We only got a few inches of snow...but it does seem more like Christmas now...
At some point during the night the snow turned to icy rain...
There were tracks of critters out before I this morning...
It must have been a cold night for whoever lives in this tree...
The sun is shining now. God is good. Happy Sunday morning.

How beautiful! At least it's cold here in Florida today to get us in the mood. I depend on you for my snow!
Happy Sunday to ya
Love your old snow shoes and sled, Laura.
Hi Laura, love the photos. The old sled is wonderful. It's cold but no snow in Atlanta today. Enjoyed yours!
so pretty, I love the old sled, I remember those. We used to put our little dog on it, and let our big dog pull. When we were really riding the sled, our collie would run down the hill everytime and take the sled back up for the next person...so much fun.
The snow looks so pretty and just in time for decorating your tree, I did a lot of decorating yesterday it was hot out during the day but by night fall we had a cool front finally come through so I got to look at my Christmas lights with a cool breeze blowing through, it was perfect all I needed was a little of your beautiful snow!
Oh Laura
I feel like I'm in a Bing Crosby Christmas movie.. sooo beautiful!!
Oh what I'd give to have a white christmas with a sled.. and a red scarf... and woods behind my house! and the moon! perfect...
Thanks for sharing this.. just beautiful xx Julie
We have also gotten our first snow. It was Friday! Does make it look a lot more like Christmas. I hope you are having a fun weekend decorating your tree. xo Joan

Fabulous, beautiful photos! ~ Angela
These photos show winter at it's best! Normally I don't like it but you make it look beautiful.
A beautiful reminder of our Wisconsin home. So much beauty in winter @ Christmastime. Love the snowshoes, sled and greenery. And especially love the snow!!! So fresh and clean, (at least the first snow is).
Merry Christmas,

Oh Laura i almost cried when i saw these beautiful photos, what i wouldn't give to have a white Christmas, living in Aust.Christmas is so very different, not at all like Christmas really, the only difference to everyday is everyone is crazy shopping at the shopping centers, and there are Christmas decorations everywhere. And to top it off i live in the tropics, so we just about melt on Christmas day. I always turn the airconditioner really low to give us the fake feeling of a 'real' Christmas, please never take this beautiful snow for granted.
How lovely your photos are Laura. I hope we get snow this year. Until I am enjoying yours!
Joy.............always
What beautiful pictures you have again shared with us. In AZ we NEVER have snow at Christmas and oh how I miss it! The light and the icicles are a delight to see.
Happy VTM,
Jo
Hope you had a nice weekend and got the decorating done you wanted to do.
Can I come over? it looks so peaceful at your house.
Nothing like here.....
