Summer Fades...

Saturday was a beautiful day up here in the mountains...
but that was just one nice day in a whole week of overcast, drizzly, windy and cold days...

The forecast is for more rain and cold temperatures...
...so it looks like we will be heading south in a few days to warmer climates...
...even if that just means downstate a few hours!

Summer fades...
...but hopefully autumn will appear with bright sunny days to make the beautiful colors of the foliage sparkle and shine.
When that happens we will be back to see these mountains in all their colorful glory!

I hope the week ahead brings good things and fun times with family and friends.
:)

Summer is fading here too! But it is about to give way to the gorgeous colors and crisp breezes of fall. :) Autumn in the mountains is devine, is it not? I hope you get more sunny weather!

Laura, you have a gift for taking simple things and making them compelling, through your artistic eye and the camera. What kind of pink flower is that? Hope your days are full of beauty. Susy

Hi Laura,
while I have been sewing my fingers to the bone, I have missed all the blogs you wrote.
Today is ketching-up time.
I love all the wonderful goodies you got again.
Girl, how do you do it!
Your Dad looks engrossed in his work and it sounds like you had some well-deseved fun with the family.
I will have to "borrow" the name Montpleisir for one of my dolls. Just love it.
Was that ribbon from the antique mall?
If it was, I am dying with envy.
It must not have been there when we were at the mall!
Enjoy the last great days up at the lake.
We had rain most of Sunday in NJ, and not a drop by us. We are hoping for rain!!!!!!!!!!!
Lots of hugs, Evi
