I received an email last week from Lizzy at Gone To The Beach
She wrote...
While searching through a stash of my own metal flea market finds, looking for a special chain, I found the perfect 52 Flea "thing"--an old brass hotel key tag from the days when they kept the keys behind the concierge's desk! I'd love to send it to you..
...and so she did!

I am so grateful to be a part of this blogging community of ours...
...I didn't know Lizzie before and hadn't yet discovered her lovely blog or her wonderful Etsy shop

My favorite part of these old tags is how the hole is so worn & crooked, from years of use. And I like the patina, that's why I just wiped it clean but didn't polish it.
Yes....we are soul sisters.
Who knew there were so many of us?
I didn't ....until I started blogging.

Yes, indeed, I isn't it fun to connect with other who are definitely kindred spirits. This is a delightful gift. I have to tell you, that when I'm out and about and see numbered items, I always think of #52. Haven't found any as yet. :-)
