Lily of the Valley and Favorite Flea Find

The sweetest flower of spring...
...tiny lily of the valley...

...in a white baby shoe.

This was my favorite find this weekend...

The clock face says Made in the USA...
the metal on the bottom is marked Made in Germany...

I don't know anything about it....
...but isn't it really beautiful?

...We have many lily of the valley throughout the property...
I have filled little vases to place them all over the house.

I found the seltzer bottle on the left at the church sale on Saturday...
...three is a collection!

Lots to do this week.
Trying not to set my goals too high...
...in hopes that I can reach a few!
................Thanks Zita for that great tip!

Have a good night and a great Tuesday!
:)

Lovely pictures and Lily of the Valley is one of my favourite flowers, I don't think it grows in NSW, perhaps in the mountains. Lucky you with such a pretty garden.

I love the lily of the valley in the baby shoe. That looks adorable! What kind of little glass did you put in there to hold the water for the flowers? A shot glass?

What great finds, Laura!

I just love lilies of the valley, they are such a delicate flower.

Hmmm, maybe parts of that clock were made in different countries, ya think? Wherever it was made, it's gorgeous!

Have a wonderful Tuesday!

I think I'm going to have to find our single, remaining baby shoe and use it for display, now! We have plenty of boots and shoes in the garden housing sempervivums, but I hadn't thought of them as vases indoors! I am so jealous that you have loads of lily of the valley - I have started a tiny colony of it in a dampish patch of our garden, but it is slow to develop and every May 1st I resort to buying another pot to display in the house and then plant into the garden... One of these years, I will be able to pick my own!

I hope that your sensible, achievable list of tasks goes very well for you today.

Hi Laura, I just read that you are opening an Etsy! I did and love it. It is scary but I don't know why. After you stop checking every 5 min. to see if anyone bought anything it gets fun. I'm having a dry spell right now. That's ok. I hope you do it. If I can anyone can and I had no help, I had to figure out everthing by myself.
I love your beautiful flowers. You are lucky to have them in your yard.
Enjoy your day!

When I was a little girl I was obsessed with Lily of the Valley and still am. I buy soap scented like it and lotion too. The scent always reminds my of my childhood.
I love the clock too. I love the age on the face and the tarnish on the base...perfect!

Hey Sweetie!
Lilies of the Valley: My favorite! Remember Pop-pop's? Along the steps going up to his house from the lower patio. I remember the geraniums, the iris, the weeping willows, picnics, badminton...
Love ya,
