Good Luck!
While on vacation in the Adirondacks the last week of July, my sister Lynn, husbands and I took a drive to a little town called Inlet...
We stopped by these lovely grounds which bordered Fourth Lake....and had a delicious lunch in a beautiful old inn looking out over the water. These are some of the outbuildings....
Signs of the past....
There was an antique shop housed in this old building but sadly it was not open the day we went by....
This vintage pale green enamel stove was on the porch...
I loved its rusty old look....I wonder how many meals were cooked on this old stove...
This was the lettering in the porcelain on the front of the stove....Good Luck.....which is what I wish each and every one of you who left a comment on my 2ooth Post Give Back......I will be drawing a name tomorrow afternoon once I arrive at the lake house...so until then...keep your fingers crossed!! I am making the trip a day early to get ready for the girls....we are all very excited about our antiquing excursion to the Madison Bouckville Antique Show this weekend!
If you haven't already entered Carole's 100th Post Give Away.....you still have time! She will be buying all things Jeanne D'Arc Living Like....and giving a treasure from her finds as her prize along with a copy of the 3rd edition of the magazine...Good Luck in both contests!
Happy Trails my friends!

That is so interesting that the stove says good luck, hum I have a wood cook stove that was my grandfathers that we have set up in my cottage studio waiting to have stove pipes hooked so I can cook on it, I remember learning to cook applesauce on a wood cook stove so I know it will bring back memories for me when I get the chance to do it again as an adult, of course on the wood stove that is.
Good Morning Laura!
what a lovely place with so much history in it,I love it!

Hello
What a quaint little town, bet you were sad when the antique store was closed...sounds like my luck.
Nice to travel through other peoples posts...since I didn't get a vacation this summer. Thanks for sharing
Blessings

Hi Laura! I'm trying to leave a comment, but Blogger won't let me, oooooh so annoying! Let's try again:
I love these buildings and those tattered and rusty items. Standing in front of an antiques store that is closed is the story of my life. Especially in France where they lunch for hours. Of course you arrive at lunching time and when you come back they are closed because of closing time :-( or they are just closed during vacation time in July and August. Might as well put a sign on the door: we hate tourists!
(as a guy in Holland actually told us, we were tourists there of course! And I love that board! There is already one attraction park over here that won't admit men without shirts anymore. In the UK you see the signs: decently dressed please. I love those too. Have a great day and good luck to you!
Hi Laura,
Wow, what a great stove! Does it mean good luck cooking? Anyway, just thought of you as I was doing my new post. I have something that I got from Anthropologie. I know you like that.
Have a great day!!
Rosemary
Love all those old chairs hanging up on the wall of that shop.
I just love the wonderful old barn! I have been attempting to replicate the wonderful shade of gray for the floors in my kitchen and living room. This photo is inspiration to keep trying to get it right. The love it
Très jolies photos, bravo pour le sens artistique de l'auteur, bonne continuation
