52 Flea To Meet Sweet Pea...Hooray!

Just look at this beautiful photograph!
I LOVE every detail!

I couldn't be more excited!

In October, while I was here in Florida visiting my Mom...
Shelley from Sweet Pea Home reached out to me and invited me to come on over for a visit. I was short on time then but we hoped to work something out in January when I would be down again.

Fast forward...and here it is January and YES...
we have arranged a date to get together!

This is a photo of Shelley's adorable and oh so chic kitchen!

Next week, not only will I have a chance to meet face to face
and sit and chat a while with Shelley...
but I will have the opportunity to see her beautiful home!

Maybe she will even let me write on her fun chalkboard wall!

Did you know that Shelley's home is featured in
The Cottage of the Month?
Click HERE to see some amazing photographs!

I'm loving each and every element in this pic...

and...Oh my goodness...
Shelley is so talented at arranging her collections
 and styling her rooms.

Shelley is well known for having a knack for finding fabulous and unique antiques which she artfully displays and sells at shows including the famous Marburger show in Texas.
(Some day maybe I will get there!)

Those same amazing talents are also clearly evident
 in her beautiful home!

And look at this!
Shelley's home has just been featured in the Italian magazine...
L'Idea Shabby Chic

She has posted all about it on her blog... Sweet Pea Home.

Isn't this one of the sweetest gifts of blogging?
It is so wonderful to travel and have an opportunity to meet
kindred spirits and blogging friends in person.

I just know that Shelley and I are going to love spending time together...and who knows?

Maybe someday Mr. Flea will meet Mr. Pea!
:)

It's so fantastic to meet people who share your interests - those that other friends don't necessarily understand - i.e why the old enamel pot at a flea market is essential to your wellbeing! :-D

I hope you both have a wonderful time, I'd love to be a fly on the wall while you chat about decor! You're starting the New Year so well!

Swoon, I've always loved her style...Since I live in Texas I was just thinking...why have I not ever been to Marburger? So, I'm making plans...I live twenty minutes from First Monday Canton, so I can't complain too much! Lezlee

She reached out to me, chastising me for not calling her when I was in FL in July. So over the holidays, I took her up on it. You will SWOON over her house! HAVE A BLAST!

And if you ever do come to Round Top/Warrenton, please go in the Spring, since that's the only time I can go!

I would love to have a "cottage" like this one. However, my Mr. P would never go for it. So I settle for using my art room as a way of displaying the vintage I love so much. These photos provide lots of inspiration. Thank you.

Hi Laura!

I just had to stop by and say helo. Long time... And so much is happening in our lives. Thank you for stopping by in my blog now and then. And thanks for sending your blogfriends from your 52 flea to Livs Lyst. Thats whats happening. I can see visitors arriving from you.

I hope you had a lovely christmas holiday. Thomas and I was celbrating christmas eve toghether for the first time. So we had dinner with my parents and the rest of the evening with Thomas parents. They live in the same town, so we could do it this way the first year togehter.

It`s so fun to think about that I wrote to you about Thomas before we were a couple. I`m so happy that I found him, Laura! I don`t really know why I`m writing all this personal stuff to a nice woman on the other side of the world. Who I have never met... But I do... take it as a compliment!

Hug from Liv - who is happy and in love ;O)
