Wish I was there. Took the kids to Fort DeSoto beach and loved every minute of it. Think I even had on a bathing suit that trip, so must of been a while ago.
I'm reading a book right now called Folly Beach and the author described the street as "paved with shells." Thanks to your photo, now I can see what she meant.
At first glance, I would have sworn you were on Sanibel Island with all the beautiful shells. Great time of year to be there, and of course, we're all envious.
SIGH~~~~~~~~ I feel so much calmer now Laura. Gorgeous pictures! I think I could feel my blood pressure lower as I looked at your lovely post : ) hugs from here...
BLISS..and BILLY BOO 222...he was a funny kid and he was very " sailor". Maybe that's why he went YANYSEA - TED SEA- RED SEA- TESS SEA- HORSEA. And maybe that's why he wants OUTTE. To live content with small means.... To seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion.... To be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not rich.... To study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly.... To listen to stars and birds, to babes and sages, with open heart.... To bear all cheerfully, do all bravely, await occasions, hurry never.... In a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common.... ...........this is to be my symphony.
Thank you to all the kindred spirits and kind souls who take the time to leave a comment......Your support and encouragement are deeply appreciated.....I read each and every message and as time allows, do my best to reply.
