I guess it's time to go home!
Packing cardboard boxes full of goodies, little thrifting treasures...
...odds and ends picked up here and there...to bring back north.

I LOVE pussy willow Laura .... it always reminds me of my childhood. I remember picking branches of it on the way home from school. It really is so soft isn't it ?

One of my favorite shrubs. I adore pussy willows...such a marvelous sign of spring.
Laura, as you prepare to return to the 'north' it was hard to believe, as I read your post that your mom has been gone a year. Wow, how quickly time passes, tho' I am sure you think of her with each waking day. My thoughts are with you and be safe as you travel back from the south. It is beautiful here in Chicago. In the 80's yesterday.

My DH just picked a bouquet of pussy willows for me! I have black pussy willows as well as the lovely silvery grey. Skies are blue, birds are singing, welcome back to the northeast 52.
