How adorable and what a great find. I know you'll have fun finding just the right place for her. : ) I'm a new follower, found you via A Thing for Roses, and would love if you'd follow me also. Please join my party: Frugal Treasures Tuesday and share one of your great posts. Barbe
I LOVE that little sheep Laura .... it reminds me of the one Carole has just made.....and, I just wish to send Mr Flea's mum a very happy 90th birthday. What a wonderful couple they must be and what stories they must tell. I absolutely adore the pieces of silk and lace from Mr Flea's great Grandmother's wedding dress. How wonderful to have that precious memento. If only we saved more little mementos for future generations. Enjoy your time with your dad and your parents-in-law and send Mr Flea's mum belated birthday wishes from Jackie in the UK . XXXX
Great find!!! I once found one too at a Thrift Store!!! I guess we are pretty lucky (Blessed)!!!I just posted a new album check it out if you get a chance... Blessings Lori
Janet here from Anvil Artifacts. i've nominated you for the Versatile Bloggers Award. You can check out the details on my blog if you wish. Please don't feel obliged. Love your wonderful blog!
This is one of those finds that you just can't resist taking home and you place it with some of your other treasures both big and small. And when you caught a glimpse of it you smile and remember how fun "thrifting" can be. Baa.baa... for now.:)
Hi Laura! This little guy {gal?} is so cute and your pics of him/her are really special. I wonder if this was from a thrift store in Florida? Loved reading about your MIL. There are some good genes on both sides of your family! My GiGi is 94 but doesn't really know any of us, anymore. The fact that Rachel is so sharp is truly a blessing. Happy Friday and thank you for your visit ~ always a treat to hear from you!
Grateful and content...
...life long collector of objects with history and soul; discovering my creative self and sharing bits and pieces along the way...
To live content with small means.... To seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion.... To be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not rich.... To study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly.... To listen to stars and birds, to babes and sages, with open heart.... To bear all cheerfully, do all bravely, await occasions, hurry never.... In a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common.... ...........this is to be my symphony.
Thank you to all the kindred spirits and kind souls who take the time to leave a comment......Your support and encouragement are deeply appreciated.....I read each and every message and as time allows, do my best to reply.
