Winding Down

It was a beautiful day here at the lake!
Picked a handful of daisies and buttercups...

Had lots of hot coffee...

...and some fine feathered company.

Continued sprucing up the place...getting ready for friends and family...
Took some time to relax, read and enjoy the sunshine...
... and to take a few pictures...
...pretty scented homemade soaps and vintage clothespins in old and worn green enamel pans.

I loved my few days alone at the lake...
...and will be happy to see Mr. Flea and Starla this weekend!

I hope you have plans for a good weekend too!
:)

Ohhh, I just can´t stop coming in here..... It´s like a magnet, draging me, to read about your days at the lake. It feels so peaceful and nice and I suppose I get a bit of that feeling myself when I read your words and see all the beautiful photos.
I really like the old wash-board in zinc.
Have a nice weekend!

This is second comment I clicked out before that secret code came up, confusing.
That is a wonderful gift to the next generation. Just keep it in a steel box, I lost mine in a house fire. They are priceless.
