Everything is Green

Summer is really here...
As I walk around the yard...everything is SO green!

I just love summer!

The weekend is upon us and first up....
The Where Bloggers Create Party is here!
This is an amazing event which lets us all peek into the studios and creative work spaces of all of our blogging friends.

I told Karen that I would keep the button for the party up on the sidebar to let everyone know about this fun day but that I was in no shape to participate....
...in fact, I think I should organize a Where Hoarders Stash party....

Anyway....be sure to check it out!

I also just stumbled upon another McLinky party that my green post happens to fit into...so for more green posts click HERE to go to Frippery!

Our new assignment for my art course is up and it's all about paper and collage!
Hooray! I am making a big mess with my paper, scissors and glue!
I have to....it's my homework! :)

My Mom and Dad arrive from Florida tomorrow and we will all be together for Father's Day....
I am making some cold salads and haven't quite decided on whether to make the orzo salad or Mr. Flea's favorite pasta salad...
Have any good summer salad recipes to share?
:)

Hi Laura,
Everything is green here and I'm loving it. Your garden is gorgeous, I'd love to take a walk through and take my time to look at each little leaf and flower with you!

I too love the WBC Party. I do think people may think I've lost my marbles when they see my studio, but it's the stuff dreams are made of for certain.

Have a lovely time with your mom & dad for Father's Day, that holiday is so special I know you'll enjoy it with your whole heart. About the salad suggestion, I'm on a fruit salad kick, can't seem to get enough pineapple & melon. I have a great Martha Stewart recipe for pasta salad, it's made w/bacon (used to eat it) but I substitute w/shrimp.

Have fun visiting the party. Know I told you before, but I could attend the hoarder's party a few times over and then some!

Dear Laura,
Thank for the lovely comment on my blog. You are so sweet and it could'nt have come at a better time. I was feeling tried and worn this morning, busy today, rushing there, here and everywhere and to sit down tonight and read your note. Thanks it was like fresh air. I became a follower so I can stay in touch.Have a wonderful father's day with your father. ~Wendy at Blissangels

Thanks for participating, your photos are wonderful. I know exactly what you mean about hoarding. The older I get though, the more I am willing to let go. Plus, this blog party gave me a kick in the pants to get things done!

Hi Laura! Thanks for stopping by my studio and commenting. I always love to hear from you. Your garden is so gorgeous. I have to live vicariously through you on that note as Florida is brutal on gardens. Take care.

Hugs,

Shelley

Oh, please. Me too! Me too! Send me an invitation to that Hoarder's Stash event!
I had a discussion with some plants in my yard yesterday that I love their greenness, but please stay within their designated boundaries.

Love all your pictures, what beautiful 'greens'! And yes everything looks so lush right now:) (sigh)

I will attend your Hoarder's Stash event...I am way to disorganized and have way too much
"stuff"...

Have a blessed weekend.......

You are so funny...hoarders who stash ;) I doubt though that your space is as bad as you imagine that it is! Having a great time at the party and I just love seeing how everyone personalizes their spaces...that is the best part. Have a great week, fondly, Roberta
