A few more days and our lilacs will be spectacular!
Our Japanese cherry tree will be in full bloom
with hundreds of soft pink petals...
...and the white and pink dogwoods lining the driveway
will be glorious!

I know Laura....I can't wait for all my lilacs to bloom...I keep checking them...have sooo many blossoms this year (thankful I fertilized in the fall)! :) My Japanese cherry tree died 2 summers ago and I was too late getting one last year...getting one on Friday...just love that tree-so beautiful....

Yes I do love this time of year! You are a little ahead of us..........I have been able to get in the yard a bit, I have a lot to catch up on, many many wind storms since last October and with over one acre and a quarter I have a lot to pick up. Hugs Mary

I was just noticing today that my lilacs finally have buds on them - so I'm probably 10-14 days behind you! Lilacs are one of my favorites so I look forward to their blooms - especially on my nightstand. your photos, as always, are lovely!

OH Laura those cherry blossoms are to die for.. my Lilacs are in full bloom here, as soon as it quits raining I can go cut some and enjoy them...

Love lilacs and sure wish mine would start blooming! Planted them 2 years ago and they are still not giving me any pretties :(
