The weather this weekend was spectacular...
...perfect for being outside at the town wide yard sales and flea market in Warrensburg...
Here are some photos of a few things I brought home with me...
Tools in their original box for cleaning my vintage typewriters....pretty cool for $1.00
Famous American Fortunes
A decorative gilt cover and interesting subject matter and drawings.
...another two tone vintage suitcase...the price was right!
I loved the color of this pretty blue shutter..
...haven't even had a chance to clean it up yet!
... tin scoop with two heart shaped locks...
...five vintage cream bottles with stoppers and numbered tags...
patent April 5, 1921
sadly, only four made it home safely...
I hate when that happens! :(
Wooden crate with lovely blue advertising print...
...Mountain Lake County Bartletts (pears)
zinc sap bucket
Wonderful vintage red and silver Christmas ornament...
Red, white and blue vintage Chase & Sanborn coffee tin and a few white cold creme bottles...
Interesting old drawer...
... one of a pair from the top of a Victorian dresser...
Mortar and pestle, tiny porcelain funnel, butter pat and an enamel funnel...
A group of black and white photographs in a folder labeled Souvenir from Coney Island....
...and a collection of religious medals.
The beautiful foliage and clear blue sky were the big winners this weekend...
Cool crisp autumn days...
...to hold in my mind and heart and sustain me all year long.
It doesn't get better than this!
:)

Awesome finds, Laura...but I have one pressing question for you: what do you actually DO with all this stuff? lol I'd love to see a post where you show how you display the bottles you find, or what you did with the shutters, the box, etc.
