Yesterday, I was invited to have lunch at my dear friend Evi's home.
Not only did we have delicious food but Evi's home was decorated for Halloween. What a treat!
As usual, every detail was perfect...
...and there were delightful surprises around every corner!
Greeting me at the entrance way was this pumpkin who was decorated with all sorts of old hardware...
Check out that pulley for a nose!
Evi did a post on her Halloween decorations which you can see HERE!
Thank you Evi
...for another huge dose of inspiration !
(...not to mention that yummy mushroom soup and that French tarte with the Italian plums and German crumbs!)
Tomorrow I head back up to the lake ...
...we will be closing the lake house for the winter
but not before we have one more weekend of fun in our beloved mountains!
I hope that you have fun plans for the weekend too!
:)

I love these decorations! Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteDear Laura,
ReplyDeleteThank you so very much for the wonderful blog you did on my Halloween decorated house. We had a great time as always.
To set the record straight, the wonderful pumpkin was not my idea. We bought a decorated pumpkin and it went bad (he grew a hairdo out of mold). We just redid another
pumpkin with the same hardware. The lady who had that great idea has a shop in PA.
Hope I did not disappoint you all too bad!
The rest are my own creations.
Have a great time at the lake, see you next week.....peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, ha ha.
Lots of love, Evi
The Hardware Pumpkin is adorable, what a novel idea!
ReplyDeleteDawn... The Bohemian
Love the nose on that pumpkin! Love all the wire. Been busy cleaning the garage and sure wish I was stumbling over old treasures like your latest flea market finds! Have a wonderful Fall weekend! Trish
ReplyDeleteoh, I wanted to mention, I did not make little Hester. She was bought 2 years ago in PA, different shop though. Pennsylvania has neat prims. I am not good at making prims, but I love owning them!
ReplyDeleteLOL, Evi
