it so looks romantic! you did a great job with that photoshop. its been so long since ive been able to visit. glad i was able to come by and visit :) blessings, aimee
Isn't texturing a blast. I often think when I'm resizing my pics that I'll leave them as is but I can't seem to help myself, it's addictive. You've made those antiques look even better and the flower now pops off the page.
Fabulous Laura These images look wonderful.. and love the old junker.. I agree you should frame it..
Just like Carole I can't resist alteration.. although lately I haven't been altering them.. bought a new camera and loving the outcome.. I'm sure it won't be long and I'll be back to editing everything in my path.. haha
Dear Laura, You're a wonderful photographer. I think that it's not particularly the technical side that makes a good photographer but the srtistic side, and you definitely have that. I love the one of the rusty car. They can make for a very depressing picture but you have given it that wonderful romantic quality. I am a bit of a purist when it comes to photography, but that's probably because I haven't got a clue when it comes to altering them !! XXXX
Your pictures are so great, dear Laura.........the first one i love most......it looks soooo romantic!!!!! I wish i could learn that one day, its so beautiful!!! Have a wonderful week,
Love that old rusty car. Until I get my girl out of college I vow not to buy an expensive camera. A lot can be done with a point and shoot just like you have shown us. hugs♥olive
I love your photos. I am trying to learn what my Canon PowershotSX120 will do. I want those images that are fuzzy in the background and clear on the object of desire. Have tried and tried but cannot figure it out from reading the manual. Must find someone who can help me. Love following your blog.
Grateful and content...
...life long collector of objects with history and soul; discovering my creative self and sharing bits and pieces along the way...
To live content with small means.... To seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion.... To be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not rich.... To study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly.... To listen to stars and birds, to babes and sages, with open heart.... To bear all cheerfully, do all bravely, await occasions, hurry never.... In a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common.... ...........this is to be my symphony.
Thank you to all the kindred spirits and kind souls who take the time to leave a comment......Your support and encouragement are deeply appreciated.....I read each and every message and as time allows, do my best to reply.

The picture of the clunker belongs in a magazine. Had a great weekend.
The car photo is wonderful. It looks like memories in my head...kinda hazy and sunkissed.

You're pictures are always perfect and beautiful to look at. I don't think you need to learn anything.
