Ahh...Summer in the Mountains

I am trying to fill up my senses with the sights, sounds and tastes of summer....



To implant in my mind the beauty and peaceful calm of the season...



















I can't get enough....enough to last the whole winter long.....

Lupines in the Adirondacks

We were at the lake house this weekend....sprucing things up for all the family and friends expected for the July 4th holiday......



This field of lupines is across the street and every spring I am amazed at the beauty of these self seeding perennials........



The colors remind me of a Monet painting....



It is truly a marvel....a gift of Mother Nature.....from God........



Aside from scrubbing and cleaning and washing and planting....I took quite a few pictures....



Enough pictures to keep me posting all week.....



But for now......these pink, blue, lavender and purple lupines will have to suffice....
