This is the year...I mean it!

Hey, thanks for stopping by!
Hope YOU are well.

Now that I am back home...

...the beautiful spring weather has me
watching for and enjoying the first flowers in the garden...

...sneezing at the tree pollen in the air and the dust in my house...
...and most importantly...focused on cleaning out!

 I know...
you are all thinking...
cleaning out?
"she says that every year...but never follows through."

Well, this is the year!
I truly am focused and have both a plan of attack
and a time frame for the work to get done.

So...
I am here to say that within the next month...
...I plan to move mountains...
...mountains of stuff...
out. the. door.

I will check in and let you know my progress.
Wish me luck!
:)

P. S. I took my Etsy shop out of vacation mode
and will begin adding to it as I uncover things and clean out.

I did major closet purging last fall & need to do more. It's so tough on the heart. Best of luck.

It can be a great feeling, but painful and exhausting. Good luck!

I just this morning decluttered my living room. It looks so much better. Now I have many more rooms to go. But one at a time wins the race. You can do it. My Instagram app is broken again but I have enjoyed following you there. xo, olive

I'm in the slow mode on doing the same. I know I need to jump in head first, but so far its more like "pick pruning". Good luck with this project.

Welcome back!!! You've been missed.
Isn't Spring just wonderful and oh so...fresh!!!
Even here is California ... Spring is Spring... cool, bright, fresh.
Recently over a period of 11 days (not all in a row) I've gone through and decluttered a craft closet and my clothes closet.
It is quite refreshing too. It's good to revisit what you have and decide what you want to keep.
Looking forward to the new/old/loved items in your etsy shop.

Greetings from New Zealand....recently you had an entry questioning whether to carry on blogging and i wanted to let you know and anyone else who might be having second thoughts...please don;t stop.....these entries with their beautiful pictures and wise words are the spring board for the start of our day, bringing something special to it so that we remember there is beauty all around us if only we lifted our eyes to see, for someone not to blog would indeed be a loss to all of us that find the message within those written words and those captivating pictures and the stories it tells help make our day magical......we will walk outside and pick that new fresh rose, bring it inside and breath in deeply its alluring scent, until its petals fall on the table and form its own pattern, we will remember friends and invite them round to share coffee and some laughter, we will take time to listen to the wind songs through the trees, we will look at life differently.....and feel good about ourselves because your words and your pictures bring to life all that is good about living, i think Lord Byron in 1819 said it well.......but words are things and a small drop of ink falling like dew upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think......

Good luck, and have fun doing it! I always love cleaning things out...I am a purger....but how I end up with so much stuff is beyond me. I have a car load of clothes I am going to donate and love having
"bare" closets.

Big hugs
Elizabeth

Hi! My mom bought me the same frog vase when I was young. My son accidentally broke it. Do you know anything about it? The maker or any other info that would help me replace it? Thanks so much for any info.....love your posts! Martha :)

I just did a major move, cleaning and organizing of my creative space. It literally took 2 weeks of a little time every night, but everything is in its place. I will admit that during the 2 week period, I found things and stopped to create, but all work and no play isn't any fun. When I finished last night, I had to make a card for a retiring colleague and it was amazing how quick it was to find everything and have a place to put it back.

GOOD LUCK!
