Safe!

We are safe with no damage to our home.
Thank you for your emails, your prayers and thoughts during this terrible Hurricane Sandy.

We have no power but hope it will be restored
by the end of the week.

Please keep the many other people
who have suffered so much loss in your prayers.

I will be back next week...hopefully power will be restored...
and will announce the winner of the purple bottle giveaway soon.

So grateful...
Take care, Laura

  1. I'm hearing some terrible stories, that sadly aren't getting the media attention they need. A mother whose 2 young boys were washed away while she tried to hold onto them:( I have a feeling many more stories will be coming out later on.

So glad you're okay! Being w/o power is frustrating but, in the big picture, not too bad. Hugs!

  14. So happy that you are okay.

Have you had the 'pull everything out of the fridge and eat before it ruins' feast yet? The food spoilage issue was the hardest for me personally....that and the lack of hot water:)

I hope that you are holding up and am sending warm wishes to those that were less fortunate than you and yours.
