While going through some of the photos that I took this summer...
I came across this grouping of clocks...
...most of them made from celluloid.
I found two of them while fleaing at Bouckville this August...
...the other two have been hanging around...collected separately.
Isn't it funny how collections develop?
I didn't intend to start collecting these sweet little clocks.
It just happened!
Now I have to ask you...
...have I already shared this collection with you?
If so...sorry!
I am dying to take more photos...
both to share here and also for Etsy...
but the weather...more specifically the light has been terrible
so I've been keeping busy with other projects.
Not sure whether I will keep all these little clocks.
But...if I do decide to let them go...
...you will be the first to know! :)
Do you have a favorite?
I can't believe tomorrow is Friday!
This week has flown by...
...busy but productive and even included fun visits
with our daughter Kate and my sister in law Karen.
Hope it has been a good one for you too!
:)
I love them. I like the oval turquoise the best. I love clocks. So far my collection is a cuckoo clock and an old mantel clock.

I'll keep my eyes on your shop in case you decide to part with any. Dibs on the little green one. Too cute.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed seeing your collection of celluloid clocks. Am especially liking the little greenish/pale turquoise one. I never see celluloid clocks at any thrift stores. I wish I would.
ReplyDeleteBy far my favorite is the green one with the flowers ... just adorable. They are all nice though. I love clocks and could easily collect them.
ReplyDeleteI'm a passionate clock collector, and these are wonderful! We've had really stormy and overcast weather today also, but as long as it isn't too dark, I love those kinds of days for taking my photos outdoors because I still get natural light, but not glaring light.
ReplyDeleteSell, oh please sell! I want one. I've had a fascination with clocks lately and I have only a pink one that doesn't work, but that I still love!
ReplyDeleteI love Celluloid clocks and have two of them. They are pure delight.
ReplyDeleteThey are SO awesome, I haen't seen them - but even if you have duplicated it sure is worth it-
ReplyDeleteWOW, that is really some collection you have there!
Now, I have just the place for the little round one at the front .....
ReplyDeleteYou have such a way with the display (and the curation) of items! I love the little green clock the best but they are all worthy. Minerva x
ReplyDeleteThey are all my favorites. A little old clock at a good price comes home with me every time. Thanks for sharing your wonderful collection. I've never seen a green clock like yours before.
ReplyDeleteSweet little collection...love the one with the "F" on it :) Laurel
ReplyDeletelove your clocks...so neat!
ReplyDeleteYou have a sweet collection of clocks. It would be hard for me to part with them. They look lovely together. :)
ReplyDeleteThey are all adorable! I think I like the one in the first photo best, though. The greenish one is a close second!
ReplyDeleteLove them all!! Mary
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the little round one with the monogram.
ReplyDeleteok Laura, if the little round one works, I want it. Keep me in mind!
ReplyDeleteDon't know if we see each other on Tuesday with the storm coming. We'll talk...
Love ya,
Evi

I LOVE this collection! Well, I love all collections, but these clocks are particularly sweet. I especially like the turquoise one, as it is so unusual. However, the creamy angled one with the FAT circle around the clock face is very special. I collect celluloid, though I don't have any clocks. What is it about celluloid that calls for a collection? such a lovely color....
ReplyDeleteI definitely have clock envy - they are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is... drumroll please... all OF them ;) !
ReplyDeleteThey are all fantastic, but the green one with flowers is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, collections just happened...and I enjoyed them a lot.
Your blog is wonderful, great photos!

Each and every one would be a favorite. Isn't it funny how collections find you when you don't think you are collecting?
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous! I would so keep them if I were you. Celluloid has such wonderful colors.
