Bouckville 2012 - Pictorial Review

This year's trek to the bucolic town of Bouckville
for the annual Madison Bouckville Antique Extravaganza
proved to be extra special as I shared the experience
with my sister Lynn.
Through a stroke of luck we were able to find last minute
 accommodations at a lovely B & B close by...
...which allowed us to extend our shopping
to a full three day girls gone wild adventure!

I took hundreds of photos...
...here are some from our first day...last Tuesday.

We found some of those olive buckets which are so popular now
but they were a bit too pricey for me.

We visited with our friends Marianne and Mike
(MM Antiques and Collectibles)
 The Carriage Place, Brockport, NY
They shared a tent with another of their dealer friends and had wonderful country primitives...all displayed so beautifully.

This scrapbook was filled with boxing related photos and ephemera.

In the Butternut Hill field, we once again visited Vicky Potter
 in her beautiful booth.

I can never walk away empty handed
from her pretty vintage treasures and gorgeous vignettes.

Lynn and I  met up with Judi from The 1829 Farmhouse
and her lovely interior designer friend Taylor.
We shared lunch and some good conversation before we all set off to hunt for more treasures.

More pictures to come of days 2 and 3!

We returned to the lake Thursday night
and family started arriving on Friday.
Dad had all four of his children together here for a long weekend
and some of his grandchildren too!

Some are still with us and it has been very busy but tons of fun!
Next week my niece and nephew are off to college...
...can't believe how fast the summer has gone!
:)

What a busy lady you are. Love the photos of all the wonderful antiques. I would have gone into information overload, looking at all the booths.
Loved the 'Sister Doll' I have one just like it that I want to sell.

Hi Laura, Madison Bouckville is one of my favourite shows here in the East. Not far from The Canadian border near Albany, it is somewhat attainable for me! I have attended two years in a row, but missed out this time as we were away...Great fun, isn't it? Your photos are great, love the olive baskets too! Hope you are enjoying this beautiful summer! Hi Laura,
How lovely that you could have your sister along for all the fun. Judging by the photos you had a ball. I'm anxious to see more. And what treasures did you bring home with you?

It's so nice that you could all be at the lake with your dad. It's my first summer in ions away from Upstate NY. It all makes me so homesick. Fondly, Marjorie

I hope our paths will cross at Bouckville some year! I recognize a few of the photos, but most of them not - it's fun to see all those treasures through someone else's eyes. I bought a few things from Vicki - lovely stuff!

I grew up 20 miles east of Madison Bouckville. The antiques are amazing in the Mohawk Valley Region... Central Leatherstocking Region...
I LOVE to see your photographs. The treasures that make you smile and a familiar style. :)
If you happen to be near the Westmorland exit of the NYS Thruway, there is an antique co-op in a rustic barn. Great treasures~
Thank you for sharing so many wonderful photographs!
So glad you're enjoying family :)

So nice you could share this with your sister! These flea markets you visit look better than the ones we visit here in Belgium or in France!

It was fun visiting this market with you.
I would really love to know how much the asking price for these items were. It would help me in deciding what to buy when I shop.
