Heavenly Promise

The rains came last night.
Today was dark, dreary and cold.

But earlier this week...the sun shone brightly
and the dogwoods in our yard put on a show.

Isn't it comforting to know the sun will come out again?
And things will seem brighter.

promise.

  19. I've never seen a dogwood in person but your photos explain why I've heard of them. Are they fragrant? It was 103 where I live today, I miss green, I miss wet. Celebrate your seasons for someone who has none.

  20. Laura:

What a beautiful dogwood bloom and what beautiful pictures. So much in bloom here and everything starting to look so beautiful. The cold snap is not good for these little blooms, but we must trust that MN knows what she is doing!! I agree, HOPE. So glad I don't reside on the East coast!!! Thanks for sharing the newness of this wonderful season
