We enjoyed the flea market at The Church of Miracles in Venice
so much that we made our way back there on Sunday morning...
...all by ourselves! :)
As we rounded the corner and the flea market came into view...
I felt my heart flutter...
It seems no matter where in the world I happen to be...
...if I am under the sun, with tables full of treasures to discover...
I am happy and content!
So, without further chatter...
with my little old, pocket Canon SD600 in hand...
here is some of what I saw:
Even, Mr. Flea found something he wanted...
Oh my!
Oops! There's Dad...
I think he's had enough flea market for the day...
...time to find a place to sit down and have a cappuccino
and a chocolate croissant!
It was so much fun to visit this flea market in Venice...
...and now you have too!
:)
Thank you Walter, Daniela and Alfredo!

Oh Laura,
I can't think of a better place to visit a flea market. We must get back to Venice very soon. It is one of my most favourite and magical places of all.
.....and what treasures....the white gloves, the chandelier wall sconce, the old letters, the white china butter dish, the old books, the perfume bottles....all of these things I can see being used behind those beautiful old shutters in Venice.
How come I didn't see a flea market when we were there ? You are one lucky girl !! XXXX
Thanks for sharing your trip with us - loved seeing all the pictures.
Oh, I have loved looking at these photos!! :) Just out of curiosity, what kinds of prices were on some of these items? Comparable to prices here? Thanks for sharing, can't wait to see the rest from your trip. :)

How did you ever find out about the flea market there? I have been so frustrated over the years trying to find locations and dates in foreign places? Do you have a great and accurate source for brocantes & fleas? Thank you so much for this fabulous post!
Oh this made me dream! I love our brocantes here in Provence but this one seemed so fabulous! I saw something in nearly every photo that would have tempted me. Thank you for a charming post!

How in the world did you resist bringing home all of it?? Or at least an extra suitcase or two?? Love the pictures and wish I could go there, too.

So,just what did you buy. I'm certain there was something special that spoke right to you!
I am curious, how many boxes did you ship home? How many luggages pieces did you fill? How could you decide? The photos are wonderful. I feel like I was there with you, only I didn't get to buy.

Oh.My.Goodness!
Thank you for taking
us along on your delicious
romp through this lovely
flea in Venice. My 16 year
old loved Venice the most
on a class trip to Italy last
summer. I have only been
to Rome, but can't wait to
go back to Italy, some day.
Now the big question: did
you buy anything??
Happy November

Oh my gosh. Is this wonderful. I take the green dishes, the little frames, the wooden cases, the lights, the jewellery. It looks like lot of fun. Wish I would have been there, too. Thanks for showing!
All the best, Steffi
I know the feeling when you happen upon a flea market, three years ago I was in Germany, experienced the very same thing. However some of the vendors were not happy about me taking photos. It was interesting, I did get the photos I wanted, once I realized what was happening there. Thanks for sharing. Florence

Can you tell me what month you visited the market? Leaving for Venice in a day and cannot find the market's schedule. Afraid it's not open during summer. Help?
