Our neighbors were going away for a few days.
They told us to pick tomatoes and squash and help ourselves to the September blossoms left in their garden.
...and so we did!

It seems that flowers are the prettiest before it gets cold. What a nice neighbor to let you gather such a beautiful basketful of flowers!
Beautiful! I've got a day off today, so I'm going to "harvest" my Annabelle hydrangeas while they're still slightly green. I have to beat Jack Frost who may visit us this week!
