Your pictures are beautiful. I am inspired to go out and photograph mine before the colors fade completely. Summer is still in full swing on Cape Cod, but it will start to slow down after this weekend.
OH I love them so. I have a blue a pink and some limelights that I planted in different areas around the house. Mine are just baby plants right now though so only one or two blooms at a time. Gorgeous photos Laura! t. xoxoxooxo
Dear Laura, Your blue hydrangeas are stunning. We have quite a few white oak leaf hydrangeas that turn to a very pale pink and then green. The blue and pink ones don't grow so well in our garden so, I'm a little envious of your beautiful blooms !!!! I was so sorry to hear about Starla, Laura. We had three cats and was devastated when they went. I always thought that I'd be sad but sad just doesn't come close to how I felt. Am thinking of you all, as I know exactly how you feel. XXXX
Hello dear Laura, your hydrangeas are so beautiful and I love the shade of dark blue, in our garden we have only pink and white shades... Hope you had a wonderful evening with your friends. Wishing you a great weekend! xoxo Bine
P.S. Last friday my copy of Artful Blogging reached now, I it was so great to see it printed...
I'm so envious of all the beautiful Hydrangeas fresh from everyone's Gardens... I'm not certain they would grow well in the Desert, but it must be wonderful to grow your own for fresh beautiful bouquets such as this!!! The colors of yours are magnificent!!!
¡ hortensias azules! mis favoritas, ¡que azul tan espectacular tienen las tuyas! esta flor es la tipica de un pueblecito asturiano de la costa occidental Cadavedo, allí las ví por primera vez, fue un amor a primera vista
Just lovely!!! Do you have to ammend the soil to get them that color? I'd love to plant these but I hear they take a lot of attention the first year or so, which I don't have time for.
Does it make you sad to see the last of the blooms? I get a bit melancholy at that sight - until I remember that it is a signal that fall is around the corner. That makes me smile again!
Have a wonderful weekend with those you love.
