Sugar Bowl of Sweet Posies

A beautiful sunny morning...

...a short walk with the mountain mosquitoes chasing me...

...an old sugar bowl without a lid...

...an abundance of delicate wildflowers...

...my morning coffee...
...hot with cream...no sugar

...this is all the sweetness I need!

:)

Hope this week is being kind to you!

We are looking forward to family and friends
who will begin arriving tomorrow for the weekend.

Oh this is really sweet, and delicate & pretty! Great color wildflowers againest the rustic background + delicate porcelain. I have been doing a lot of day dreaming about picking wildflowers, Laura. :) Just need to find a place where they are growing! I just purchased the most gorgeous multi-pastel hydrangeas tonight.. they in the fridge in a bucket of water for tomarrows photos. ;) I am not loosing these babies (my last ones wilted on the counter overnight in a vase/cut stems/water. Alwaus a pleasure to view your exquisite photography. And I don't take sugar in my coffee either - I prefer it black.

Take Care!
Lara

Tell me that's what they're called and not the size of those skeeters...and that they at least give you a head start!
Let everybody else have the hot house flowers. Give me wild ones anytime.

I love using non traditional items as vessels for flowers. Your sugar bowl is the perfect complement to your wildflowers.

So important to take in all of the little good things. Thanks for the reminder!

Thinking of you and sending good energy your way. My memory isn't always great but I think that your Mom's Memorial Ceremony is tomorrow, isn't it?
