Forget Me Nots in French Clay Pots

Took a few minutes yesterday afternoon to move some little
patches of Forget Me Nots scattered about the lawn...
and some moss growing over the stones by the shed...

...to some old French clay pots that my friend Paula
and I found at Brimfield about 7 or 8 years ago.

Love all the sweet spring flowers.
Love being outside in the spring sunshine.
Love shopping the markets at Brimfield in the spring...
...even if the sun doesn't shine.

Love spring!

:)

Will you be going to Brimfield next week?

mary and i can't wait to get to brimfield next week!...we've tried to remember all the essentials: good shoes, cooler full of water , sandwiches , flashlights, hats, lightweight duffels, pushcarts, cell phones, cameras, money, determination and a sense of humor!

we'll wave if we see you...

So pretty! Those forget-me-nots seem happy to grow anywhere - putting them in a pot really shows them off.

Oh yes, oh yes, this will be my second trip to Brimfield. My best friend and I went on a bucket list dream trip last year. We fell in love with it, and as soon as we got back home, started saving and planning for this year's trip. We are bringing two of my grown daughters along for the fun. They're going to love it. We're coming from San Antonio and Houston, Texas. We fly into Boston on Saturday morning and we will stay until the Monday after the shows are over. You've mentioned in your blog posts about some wonderful places to shop, I would love to see some of them.
Smiles,

Carol

Love the forget-me-knots. Mine aren't up yet.
A little slower than last season. I keep a stash of those little pots handy for starting up my geraniums kept over winter.

Forget Me Nots, always remind me of when My Kids were younger & in grade school, money was tight, but I always made sure at the end of the school year, I would send a nice Thank You card to their Teacher, inside was always a personal note & a Package of "Forget Me Not" Seeds. I heard later that it was a Favorite of their teachers.
Have a wonderful week~
