Beautiful Laura the teacups are so sweet.. and I wanted to tell you how much I liked your last post.. had a few internet issues and couldn't leave a comment..
Your Put and Take is fascinating.. and the whistle!! I love the whistle.. looks just like my Aussie Thriller whistle.. little partners in crime..
Yes, I love those teacup...such a wonderful design and I love the ears (?) is that right :) ? It is just great to make yourself some tea in a cup like that!
I don't think there are many things I love more than vintage china - beautiful post! I particularly love the first cup and saucer pictured, the gilding is still in such beautiful condition and the design is stunning :-)
Hello Laura, I just love the delicate blue of the first teacup and it even has flowers inside the cup it is so pretty. I am new to blogging...thank you for sharing! Suzann
There is something very special about old teacups isn't there. Mother had a teacup with flower bouquest painted inside so you discovered the flowers as you drank your tea, Sweet! Check out my current giveaway - you might like to participate in it. Dismayed - 76 followers and nobody has taken part yet - what am I doing wrong?
Grateful and content...
...life long collector of objects with history and soul; discovering my creative self and sharing bits and pieces along the way...
To live content with small means.... To seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion.... To be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not rich.... To study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly.... To listen to stars and birds, to babes and sages, with open heart.... To bear all cheerfully, do all bravely, await occasions, hurry never.... In a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common.... ...........this is to be my symphony.
Thank you to all the kindred spirits and kind souls who take the time to leave a comment......Your support and encouragement are deeply appreciated.....I read each and every message and as time allows, do my best to reply.
