While visiting in Rochester this weekend we found a charming shop on Park Avenue
called 2Chic Boutique.
The dress forms in the windows were attired in amazing outfits and enticed us to go in and take a closer look.
There were some fabulous separates by Krista Larson as well as a variety of fashions by other wonderful designers.
My sister had fun trying on all the great hats....
I just loved the fabrics...
...especially this collection of grays, blues and lavenders....
in taffetas, silks, tulle ...and lots of ruffles!
Jennifer Kinsman is the owner of this unique boutique.
She does a wonderful job at selecting fashions and accessories and displaying all these beautiful clothes. Tea and cake were set out on a sideboard and there were fresh flowers and crystal chandeliers to complete the ambiance.
Jennifer took the time to draw us a map and point out all the highlights of the area and her favorite restaurants.
She loves Rochester and was born and raised here.
It is clear that Jennifer has exquisite taste and puts her heart and soul into all that she does...
She loves her beautiful and charming boutique.

So did we!
I hope you had a fun weekend !

ReplyDeletefun weekend? not really, but it did feel good to complete jobs that needed to be done before winter. we cleaned the chimney,so we can burn wood for heat. removed two nonusuable satellites from the roof for recycling. and just cleaned up the yard somewhat. and now here we are back to starting a new week. make a good week for yourselves. Bestest,Denise

That is Jennifer...the owner of 2Chic Boutique!
ReplyDeleteDoesn't she look adorable in that hat?
:)
What did you buy? I wouldn't have been able to resist one of those gorgeous hats!
ReplyDeleteKrista Larson is one of my favorite designers right along with Cynthia Ashby. If I had lots of $$$ it's all I would wear...except for at work.
ReplyDeleteThen again if I could afford the clothing I wouldn't be doing what I do:) haha
Glad you got away with your sis.

ReplyDeleteWow. What a wonderful shop! Just wearing one of those creations would make a woman feel like someone in a movie!
ReplyDeleteI WISH I had the courage to dress in clothes like this, but people would just stare rudely, you know? ... but I have dreamed of being the pretty girl on a sunny farm dressed in petticoats and homespun, a basket of fresh picked flowers over my arm, a happy dog at my side.
