There's nothing like family time for birthdays.My eldest just celebrated her 11th birthday last week. We can feel the end of summer (and all it's excitement) approaching. In your blog, I find the softness I need for the transition to calmer times. Those lace/cotton reels are exquisite.

We have been celebrating birthdays, too. Such fun, but I am having trouble passing up the cupcakes. Katie went to Sarah Lawrence in Westchester County. I am not sure if that is the same but I sure miss those days of visiting her!
