Just look at these beautiful pink ruffly dahlias!
Last weekend I stopped at a yard sale and these were the only things worth taking...
...and so I took pictures!
How lucky to be in the right garden...
...at the right time...
...in order to catch these beauties in all their glory!
I am enjoying these pretty pink images of a sunny garden ...
...as we still have gray and cloudy skies overhead...

ReplyDeleteOh' goodness, Laura. I love Dahlias. This is the first year that I haven't nurtured my very few and had some to enjoy. Being in Florida I can grow them and the blooms are beautiful by the leaves always look bad from the heat. They really are one of my very favorite flowers. Thanks for letting me enjoy yours. Your photos are just so good!

ReplyDeleteI planted Dahlias & the first year they were lovely but they apparently freeze out in the winter. Some say that you should dig them up but that is too much like work!! LOL!!

You I saw some dahlia at our Royal Easter Show earlier in the year... they were amazingly perfect.. yet... didn't really have the appeal that these do!! [too perfect.. hahaha]
